Do I need to buy a GPU?
Not always. Many use cases run perfectly well on a decent server without a dedicated GPU. When one is needed, we size it precisely — that is exactly what the audit is for.
Is it as good as ChatGPT?
For general-purpose use, the big commercial models keep the edge. For your specific tasks — your documents, your processes, your vocabulary — a well-configured open model does the job, and your data stays home.
I don't have a server. Is that a blocker?
No. We can install a server on your premises, or deploy on a Canadian private cloud. "Self-hosted" means under your control — not necessarily in your closet.
What about Québec's Law 25?
Self-hosting greatly simplifies the question: your personal information is not communicated to an external AI provider. We document the architecture to support your compliance file — without replacing legal advice.
How long before a first result?
The audit takes a few weeks. A proof of concept on your data usually follows within weeks — we aim for a demonstrable result quickly, not an eighteen-month project.
